This week two well known local singers, Tracy Walton and Sarah Barrios, were individually featured on CT Style on WTNH Channel 8 as they were nominated in different categories for the New England Music Awards. Voting is still going on through Jan 31st and you can help!

Go to the N.E Music Awards voting page and vote for Sarah Barrios (Best New Act) and Tracy Walton (Best Male Performer).

Tracy Walton can rock the house as he consistently does at Infinity Music Hall, but he can also turn the dial and play blues or Americana. One of the most popular songs from his most recent album is "Songs For You" a beautiful ballad from the heart and he chose to close out his set at CT Style with it. Check out Tracy's site for more information.

19 year old Sarah Barrios's star is rising in the New England music scene and though she can expertly cover Stevie Wonder or Lorde, she has something important to say herself.  With her original, “Don’t Look Back”, Sarah communicates a powerful empowering message.  "I have a motto that I live by and created and that is,”be you, be different, who cares about the rest” and this song is about a girl who takes on that motto and realizes she can be herself." She is working on an EP that will be produced by Tracy Walton. Check out Sarah's site for more information.

Torrington is rallying behind these artists and remember that every vote counts so please add yours and please share with your friends. Together we can tell New England what we in Torrington already know, that Tracy and Sarah are truly the BEST!
