Smithsonian comes to Torrington this Saturday

The preeminent museum in the western hemisphere is bringing a traveling exhibit to Torrington and it’s open to the public for free starting this Saturday 1/25/2014 at 1pm

The Smithsonian exhibit is called “The Way We Worked” and it will be hosted by the Warner Theatre in the Warner’s Nancy Marine Studio Theatre lobby.

The Exhibit will be open from January 25th to March 9th.
Saturdays and Sundays: 1-5pm
Thursday and Fridays: 1-7pm

See vintage photographs of the years 1857-1987 and see how this country worked. It’s a fascinating history and shows the work life of Americans through time.

Here’s a thought: Torringtonians can go to the cash mob at Downtown Café at 131 Water Street at noon and then see a free exhibit at the Warner Theatre lobby at 1pm! This is great for us, great for our town.

So check it out! And share the information so that others can hear about this even and come visit our hometown this weekend!
