Monday Night Open Mic

Like the cool breeze that gently welcomed Monday evening in Torrington, the community found a way to be out and about, participating in the the night's entertainment. Some took walks in their neighborhood, some sat on their porches or front steps and listened to local radio and others found their way to Bachi's Restaurant to sit on the patio and listen to the cool sounds of music performed live at the Singer Songwriter Network's Open Mic might.

The patio at Bachi's was filled with patrons enjoying the great food and music. Jacque Williams hosted the event, mixing music in between the performances. Theresa Channel filmed the show for the C.R.E.W cablevision show on Channel 5. And in front of a brick backdrop and a gorgeous night sky, musicians showcased their talent  to an enthusiastic audience. Each performer had their own style and had approximately 10 minutes of stage time to entertain.

The Singer Songwriter Network's Performance Lab/Open Mic Night is one of the many wonderful cultural advantages our Torrington community enjoys.

If you would like to listen to great music on a Monday, or if you have talent and want to share it with an encouraging community, head out to Bachi's (46 East Main Street, Torrington, CT) at 7pm-9:30pm on Monday nights.

Are you going to an Open Mic event this Spring?
