IN IT TO WIN IT: The Torrington Warrior Cheerleaders!
After earning the Grand Champion title and first place at the 2014 CT Allied Conference for the second year in a row, the Warrior team went on to the New England Regional Cheer Competition. At the Regional competition they qualified for the National Cheer Competition in Orlando, Florida, a prestigious honor awarded only to the top 3 teams from each region in each division. With Coach Danielle Jolicoeur at the helm assisted by Taylor French, Whitney Quarles and Jeymi Hernandez, the Warrior Cheerleaders have demonstrated energy, spirit, teamwork and their “In it to Win It” positive attitude. Already the Torrington community is proud of these young students in this extraordinary athletic achievement.
The Warrior Cheerleading will need to travel to Orlando to be part of the competition from December 10th - 15th and this is where the Torrington community can support the team live their dream.
From NOW through Dec 10th you can contribute directly to the GOFUNDME campaign dedicated to this cause. This direct way of helping the team can directly impact the ability for these students to participate in this final competition.
